WHAT TO EXPECT
Although this is our first year to offer guided hunts, we have been shooting ducks for years. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here's a 6,000 word essay to let you know what you're getting yourself into...
HUNTS
Open Water
Timber
Fields
Pond hunts consist of open water surrounded by natural grasses and weeds. With the lack of obsticals in the ponds, the open water provides a successful environment for a beginning hunter. The blinds are comfortable and sufficiently camoflauged to conceal even the most excited children. They are also dog friendly.
If you have been lucky enough to take greenheads in timber, you know there is no greater thrill in the wing-shooting world. That being said, getting in the trees takes some work. If you think you may want to hunt the trees, you are required to bring waders. Unfortunately, the ducks frequent the trees the least which means the spots aren't always available. However, if you hit it right, you're in for a real treat.
Sometimes, the birds like to feed in the fields. Luckily, that's nothing a layout blind can't fix. We are very fortunate to be one of the only places in Central Alabama able to hunt mallards in dry agricultural fields. After all, there's nothing like being in a warm layout on a cold December morning, watching birds come in like they've never seen a decoy spread a day in their life.
PRICING
HUNTS
Each hunt gaurantees 6 ducks for $225 a person and is to be paid upon arrival. If 6 isn't enough, you can shoot as many extra birds as you would like for $35 per bird. Also, we understand that sometimes you want to bring your kids, your wife, a buddy, or anybody else just to watch. We encourage that, but since there are only so many seats available at one time, there is a $100 rider fee. Our blinds hold 8 hunters plus a guide.

MEMBERSHIPS
If you intend to hunt with us multiple times, it is more economical for you to pre-order your birds. Pre-ordered birds are $30 a piece paid upfront, with a minimum of 100 ducks increasing by 50 duck increments from there. A deposit is required to hold the dates you know you would like to hunt, but you will be welcome to call any time you're available to hunt for possible last minute hunts!

DATES
Preserve season is from October 1 through March 31. To reserve a date, a $50 non-refundable deposit will be needed upon booking, though you can reschedule up to two weeks before your hunt for no charge.

ADDITIONAL FEES
There are a few optional extra fees that could make your experience even better. Though you are not required to, it is standard to tip the guides. They put in alot of work to give you the optimal experience. You are more than welcome to clean your birds yourself, but if you'd like, we will make it happen for $3 a bird. Didn't bring enough shells? We have those too! Want a cooler iced down with your favorite adult beverage? We can make it happen, though we don't allow drinking before or during the hunts. We also have clays to shoot if you are hanging around after the hunt.
